Solid waste collection services are required for commercial/non-residential customers inside the city limits and are provided by Texas Disposal Systems (TDS).  To request service or to make a change in service, please contact Customer Care at (512) 930-3640.

According to the need of the business, 95-gallon wheeled cart(s) or front-load dumpsters ranging in size from 2-yard to 10-yard are available for your business.  Collections are provided up to seven times each week depending on demand.

The City of Georgetown offers commercial recycling as a City service to customers.  If selected, it will be included on the monthly utility bill instead of billed separately through TDS.

What is the “Right Sizing” Program?

It is a program offered by the Environmental Services Department that reviews in-city limit commercial customer’s current dumpster services and analyzes the refuse to determine if the business is using the optimum sized dumpster and service frequency.  It also evaluates whether the business could benefit by adding recycling service to the service account.
