Location: Georgetown Municipal Complex, 300-1 Industrial Ave
What can you bring for disposal?
- Mattress & Box Springs
- Furniture (good, stable condition only)
- Bags or small boxes of paper to be shredded on-site: Limit 3 boxes/bags per person.
- Tires: Limit 4 per car
- Electronics: tablets, phones, televisions, and other electronic devices with a cord. All data will be destroyed before recycling components.
- Lawn Equipment-(mowers, weedeaters, edgers) metal only-all gas and oil must be removed from equipment before disposal
- Household Appliances-(washer/dryers, stoves, hot water heaters, stainless sinks) metal only
- Used/Unwanted Crayons (supporting The Crayon Initiative)
Unaccepted items (will be turned away)
- Hazardous Waste (any item with a warning label)
- Medical & pharmaceutical
- Batteries
- Light Bulbs
- Refrigerators
- Oxygen Tanks
- Construction Debris
- Broken furniture and household items not on the list (these items need to be disposed of directly at the transfer station or if you are a TDS customer, schedule a bulky collection)
Please DO NOT put anything other than paper in your paper shredding (i.e. oxygen bottles and batteries)

SUPPORT THE GEORGETOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT BLUE SANTA PROGRAM THIS SEPTEMBER!
Blue Santa is an annual program of the Georgetown Police Department that assists underprivileged youth residing in Georgetown. Last year, Georgetown Blue Santa served over 2,300 children. Monetary gifts are processed through their 501(c)3 non-profit organization toward the purchase of toys.

Blue Santa will not accept knives, weapons, toy weapons, combustibles, toiletries, makeup, bikes, skateboards, clothing or hula hoops
If you donate battery-operated toys, please include an extra set of batteries. Many parents cannot afford to purchase replacement batteries for toys and/or purchase safety equipment for sports items.
