Discard your tree curbside on the first recycling day of the month.  TDS will collect it as part of the Yard Trimming collections. The tree must be 7 feet or shorter. Longer trees must be cut into manageable sizes. Items such as tinsel, decorations, and lights must be removed from the tree or a fee will be charged for the tree to be disposed of as landfill.

Drop-Off

Residents may discard a real tree at the Transfer Station at no charge from January 2-January 31. The Transfer Station is located at 250 W.L. Walden Road (behind the Animal Shelter).  Items such as tinsel, decorations, and lights must be removed from the tree or a fee will be charged for the tree to be disposed of as landfill.
